This is the sky from October 2 in Bozeman Montana. My family did a road trip to Yellowstone that day- it was nice but obviously off. We laughed a ton the day was beautiful but Layt’s absence is felt every second of the day. Regardless being with everyone is all that matters. The drive back was INSANE! The sky completely shifted and we were going through this series of lighting, rainbows and half of Bozeman gold and the other half blue. I thought well damn if I chose to believe, this would be quite the sign Layt. I was working on different projects in the studio but despite my responsibilities the image of the storm wouldn’t leave my mind and who am I to ignore myself. I’m pretty sure everyone in Montana knows this fact but bison are the one animal that walks into the storm and ulitumently spends less time in the chaos. That’s my goal for this upcoming year- to stop avoiding the sadness with work and instead ride the waves.
